Barend and Nathalie, better known as Ba and Nat.
We love a challenge, because life is too short not to follow your dreams. After working for several years for the government in the security sector, we consciously decided to change course and start a new adventure in the country of our dreams.
In the beautiful mountain village of Benifato, near the Costa Blanca, we discovered a small bar that immediately captured our hearts.
This is where La Esquinita – Bistro Benifato was born.
We preserved the character of this little corner and turned it into a warm and cosy place. With great care, we want to be an open home for mountain lovers, sports enthusiasts, motorcyclists, and anyone looking for peace and a friendly atmosphere, in a unique spot in the beautiful mountain landscape of the Guadalest Valley.
You are welcome to join us for a small bite and a drink, with a lovely mix of Spanish and Belgian cuisine. We are also happy to share a friendly chat in several languages.
